Who we are
Kerala makes wonderful things. Too few of them get the audience they deserve.
The next great Indian food brands and consumer labels can come from here. From kitchens on streets we grew up on, from founders we know by name. We started this company to work on that.
And because we were tired of watching the opposite: good businesses losing money on platforms they did not fully understand, sold to by people who had never read a P&L or sat through a margin review.
The name
Every idea this company has ever had started over chai. All of them end up in pixels: a listing, a reel, a report, a menu. The ampersand in our name is the part we care about most, because the thinking and the making belong in the same room.
Where we come from
We came out of the marketplaces, not out of advertising.
Across this team and the people who advise it, there is close to a decade inside e-commerce and food delivery, most of it spent inside the platforms that now decide whether your business has a good month. We have worked with several hundred restaurant and consumer brands across Kochi and Bangalore. Not as an agency pitching them, but as the people on the other end of the phone when something broke.
That side of the table teaches you things. How visibility is allocated, and how little of it is about deserving it. When ads are worth buying, and when a platform is moving your money around. Where margin goes: commission, discount load, delivery economics, the fees nobody reads. Why a restaurant can be busy and still be losing.
You only learn any of this from inside. We brought it out with us, and it now works for you.
The other half
Sourav came at this from the opposite direction. Years in front of a camera in Kochi, and before that he co-founded one of Kerala’s largest community pages and grew it from nothing, learning what people here stop scrolling for by testing it on himself, in public, hundreds of times.
One half of this company knows what a margin is. The other knows what makes someone stop.
Sourav Sunil
Brands he has worked with
KFC · Decathlon · LuLu · Realme · Eucerin · Forum Mall
He co-founded What’s In Kochi and grew it from nothing into one of Kerala’s largest community pages, running brand campaigns off it before most businesses here had worked out that Instagram mattered. The Zomato years added the other half: what a restaurant’s week looks like from the platform’s side. He knows what plays because he has tested it, hundreds of times, on his own audience. Cassette, the events brand he founded, keeps that instinct live: real crowds, real rooms, across Kochi.
What we believe
-
Most marketing problems are business problems.
A restaurant with a visibility problem often has a pricing problem. A brand that cannot grow on Blinkit often has an assortment problem. We would rather tell you that than sell you a campaign.
-
Reach is earned.
You can buy impressions in Kerala cheaply. Getting people to stop is a different skill, and it does not scale with budget.
-
Boring things win.
Written scopes. Reports that reconcile. Paperwork that survives procurement. None of it is exciting. It is why clients stay.
Who we work with
Restaurants and food businesses across Kerala, where we work on the ground.
Kerala brands going national, and consumer brands scaling on quick commerce and e-commerce, wherever they are. That work happens on the platforms, not in the room.
If you are somewhere in there and you’ve decided next year should be bigger than this one, that’s reason enough to talk.
